Hueh.. now i can say that today is one of the craziest day of my life.
It's funny when i reflect back abt it now, but certainly not funny at all.
I tried and hold back my tears for hours but well, some finally "spilled"
as i talked to Rin over the phone.. hueuehe. anyway thanks Rin.
you really helped a lot...

- woke up a lil late
- rush in bathroom
- asked my bro why didnt he go to sch "sch's closed today.."
- saw that the snow was quite thick
- wore my shoes, forgot my hat
- walked out, slippery and stumbled across thick snow
- saw wonderfully lotsa busses hid within 1 small alley
- missed my bus to sch...
- took the next bus but it was lik forever.. so slow (cos of snow)
- change bus, waited for this bus in extreme cold for so long (unusually long)
- took the bus, "fight" my way with snow to sch
- go through the snowy park..
- walk infront of the sch door "SCH IS CLOSED DUE TO SNOW ON 29/01"
- and the door is locked...
- goodjob! was thinkin of catching starbucks but decided against so
- fell off cos i cant see the division between road and pavement
- took #17 cos i tt i would walk lesser
- it stopped halfway before broadway cos the road is too steep
- walked back to the usual route of going home
- super cold, want to cry
- while waitin for the usual #8, i gt splashed 3X and #8 still wont pass by
- thou #3 and #19 kept on passing by
- after the 3rd splash, i decided to take #3
- reached home, had an online convo with teacher, sleep
- talk on the phone with rin fo hours
- now doing work la! what are you looking at! do work!


hahaha. so that summed up the drama things.
well as i was splashed countlessly i thought of something funny//lame
"wow this is just like korean movie.. what if prince charming came?"
but never lah., u know its only drama.
wahahaha

but prince charming who was not a prince charming anymore
called and talked though nothing grand or anything
and it doesnt really contribute to anything
just for linkage between prince charming and prince charming
cos i know that prince charming stays at neverland
and he tries to seize the throne from Arthur and Shrek

simplistic but truly interesting birthday this year.
Really, i cant say much but to thank everyone for their warmth and
kind support, love and encouragement and gifts and everything.

oke...lets start by describing the whole dramas hehehe.
8 am in the morning of the 23rd 3 people wished me on facebook
(i was online cos i was downloading some movies hehe)

I was in some class where I was replying messages from my good
friend in SF, who was having big crashy relationship problems.
Well, i hope her well... as long as she's happy and blissful.
Anyway... halfway through Anton smsed me from indo. hehe
How nice of you ling. haha

As I was having break, i walked around the sch with lynn.
Somewhere near the photolab, i met Kunal.
He came and hugged me and said these unforgettable words:
"kath! happy birthday man..belated"
hahaha.. its not even my bday yet and yet he wished the belated wish.

And as I went home from Frankenstein play somewhere kinda far,
it was 12 midnight and my phone rang. My cousin called me from singapore
to wish me, and as she was talking to me, her sister, who is staying
with me, brought out a birthday cake from the kitchen and took her
guitar, singing happy birthday to me. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
The best part was.....
my bro came out of his room and yelled:
"oi! you guys are so noisy! can shuddup r nt? Im trying to get some sleep"
oops...
And so my cousin passed the phone to my grandma who openly declare that
she never remember my international date birthday. She only remember
my lunar calendar birthday because when i was born, my granpa went to
view his factory, fell down and gt a swollen hand.

As I opened fb, fs and this blog, so many people wished me.. awwwww.
some wished me on msn.. awww awww awwwwwww
and Jorge 'hijacked' Lynn's facebook account to wish me
while mud through his phone convo with gq wished me

1 interesting idea that came about as i was msn-in with gq and lynette:
i am talking to 2 people of identical birthday on my birthday.
funny.

The next day......
I woke up late, had all-you-can-eat sushi with sisil, dian & mel.
So sweet of em, Mel drew a picture of me and they had their wishes there too.
We, then, went off to accompany sisil to some woodshop and then head
to metrotown based on "zara has crazy sale!" hehehe
and of cos..... "OCHA!"
So we spent quite sometime in Zara and then moved on to T&T where I
bought Ocha and well, i fell to the temptation of oolong cha. all unsweetened.
heavenly whahaha..

There were more of people's participation on my birthday, but im just
so tired rite now. maybe i'll update the account later.

and ah........................
God's way of doing things.. is really funny. As funny as He can be, He gave
me a revelation, just like *swooosh!* hint at one time, and confirmation within
a few hours later. Walauweh, God, just a bit too fast.
I'm still kinda surprised u know... Thou i expected it 50-50. hahaha.
It kinda enlighten me to parts where I thought i saw some light.
it was a light indeeed.

I just realised that im in a mess rite now.

for the 3.4 GPA. wahahaha...

last night my mom called when i was on my way home from downtown
it was a nice and warm chat, i guess.
i never call home.. for the fact that i never buy intl calling card
and i seldom pass by the shops. so they call me. can lah.
if its a call from dad, the topic will ranges from money, bank, dont use money
too much, brother's well-being, taking care of brother, be there for brother,
make sure brother alive and well, etc etc etc.
and it may never touches the topic of "how are you, kath?"
its different with my mom, she may talk to me abt her worries for my bro,
but she called him herself, so she didnt say much abt him.
and she will tell me things that happened back home. nice feeling.

ive been thinkin abt my birthday.
maybe its the jealousy, that my cousin, whos 1 month younger than me
get to celebrate it hugely etc etc etc
and her sister is tryin to get me to celebrate it too (to which i decline)
i dunno.. i just dont find the idea appealing
esp thinkin abt the money that im gonna spend and maybe, may dad's facial expression.
no dresses, no party, no golden key, no nothing.
i guess im just gonna make this as normal as possible
to avoid disappointment

the more you put your hopes high
the more crushed it will be when things dont go well
hmmm... easy said than done.
just.dont.think.too.much.and.dont.expect.anything.
hmm maybe i'll make something. whaha. i dunno.

was out of my Art History class maybe abt an hour ago.
and now im at the most comfortable room in the whole sch: 247B
i dunno why man, but i just found my liking to this room
just like how i used to love the 3D lab in TDS.
Its like.. maybe 3/4 of the size of our life drawing class with Tia in TP,
with lotsa tables and chairs...
but nobody's in the class and the lighting is bright and great
makes me feel like so productive.. (yeah rite, and now im slacking)
but anyway... damn! how i wish i got this kind of room whahaha

talking abt art history... and some racial issues...
ive come to think abt it. when people ask me "where are you from?"
or when i do an introduction of myself....
its like...
"hey i was from singapore. but not from singapore. from indonesia"
like.. very hard to define where i am from.
cos actually im not really from indonesia either.
since my granparents came directly from china.
so its like.. im not singaporean, maybe indonesian, somehow
chinese...
a lil bit hard to define lah.
am i gettin the best of all? hmm i dunno
and it seemed that my fluency in any language is like.. deteriorating
i get tongue tied lotsa times cos i just cant express some words
or expressions out...
thats another problem with..... ageing whahaha

anyway...
somehow sometimes i just find it very heartbreaking to accommodate
and not accommodated.

day by day as i came closer to returning back to ground,
i feel so old... old little child... maybe thats what i am
withered and uncertain
had so much negative comments around me nowadays
i appreciate their kindness and transparency in sharing them with me
but it kills me down
slashes me over and over again
sometimes i need hints, i need solutions
but instead, i found critiques, critiques and more critiques

this. Hehe, re-reading old entries brought back lotsa memories..
the good ones, the bad (not bad lah, disappointing) ones, sad ones, happy ones..
whatever ones.. lalalaa.
Well yeah, i will just leave the sentence here as a remembrance for myself
(and everyone else) to:
- not worry about every other outcome of every other things we did
- trust in Him and His timing
- move on and not to stumble and ponder at weakness

i fell sick after eating sunflower seed
woke up with 'hot sexy' throat predicting that i will fall sick
true enough, was dead on the new year's eve
Lynn, who kidnapped me the day before because she wanted to stay
awake for Vanness' call, <-- man.. i dont mind pickin up the call man....
in the end she abandoned all her happy-joyous-party life
to cook porridge for me, fed me with meds and for new year's eve
we kinda cook and fed mr Shannon who was sick as well.
at 00 00 we stood by the balcony, toasting with chocolate milk,
and then drove to Shannon's hse and stayed the night watching
"superbad"

woke up pretty much late on the 2nd and decided not to go sch,
